I am a +2 Student with basic c++ knowledge.i want 2 b a cracker(hacker).Just tell me what the hell to do nxt?

I am sick of writnin programs that insert elems int arrays and stuff.I know i have to learn programming to become hacker but i dont know what to do.I am downloading articles like crazy and even downloaded a tutorial for python(as recommended by "how to become hacker"by Mr Raymond.)But it only gets me back to basics.Somebody point me in the right direction to do more serious (useful)programming???

Er, a hacker of what? Networks? Program hacking? Program hacking requires knowledge of Assembly language and programming knowledge of the functions that the operating system provides (e.g. file reading %26amp; writing, allocating memory, etc.)


You'll also need information about how the operating system works.


You mention Python, so I guess you're programming in Linux/Unix. I don't know about programming in those environments but there are free assemblers and debuggers that you can download. First, you should be comfortable with programming within the Linux/Unix environment, then you should learn Assembly Language. After that, you should get comfortable with making programs entirely in Assembly Language. After that, you'll have the knowledge to hack Linux/Unix executable files.

Search the Internet %26amp; find Assembly source files that you can examine.





As for network hacking, you need to know all about networks and hacking techniques. Books are probably the best way to go. Get a book on the IP protocol, a book on network communication, and a book on network security (to give you some idea on how attacks are initiated). You need to be very familiar with using the network programming functions in Linux/Unix too.





Those 'how to be a hacker' articles %26amp; books are mostly nonsense. Once you gain the knowledge of how something works right down to the lowest level, the 'hacking' knowledge will take care of itself.
