Looks good, try mocrosoft.com as well
Reply:You have a couple of choices for fee software.

You can get Eclipse from eclipse.org. This is a full IDE (a development environment). I haven't used it for C or C++, but it's excellent for Java.

Or you can go to the GNU site gnu.org. They have a full set of development software.

If you have a little money, then Borland's product is pretty good. They may even have a free version. borland.com, I think.

Good luck.
Reply:Dev C++ is nice. http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html

These are free compilers.

These are not free but you can try them for free.
Reply:Batch files are the simplest and they can be compiled into exe's.
